Tiny Parade Coaching

Transitions and Systems Coaching

Hi, I’m Helen! I am a certified systems and transitions coach dedicated to guiding and cheering people on through challenges and obstacles of all sizes.

I started Tiny Parade Coaching to help people navigate both planned and unexpected life and career transitions and develop systems and structures to achieve goals.

My goal is to guide you on your own tiny parade along your own unique path!

Coaching provides dedicated space and time to explore how your values and strengths can get you from where you are to where you want to be.

Coaching is for you if you want to:

  • Identify goals and opportunities.

  • Explore strengths and areas of growth.

  • Develop a roadmap for navigating stressors, obstacles, and burnout.

  • Celebrate accomplishments and everyday wins.

Testimonials

  • In the past it had not been easy for me to open up to a coach. One of the most valuable parts of working with Helen was that they put me at ease very quickly. Helen approached me and my goals with compassion, understanding and professionalism. They were a good listener and asked me questions that helped me to gain clarity quickly. I highly recommend working with Helen.

  • The most valuable part about working with Helen was learning how to ask myself: “why is this task or issue important today?” Identifying the importance of a goal or a challenge helped reframe the way I was prioritizing a lot of my work. Helen also helped me get to the “why” of the work in a constructive way.

  • Before I worked with Helen, I felt unsettled with some career choices where they added value simply by listening and using timely probes to guide the discussion along a peaceful path where I can now look forward to the future with open eyes and calm discernment.

  • Before I worked with Helen, I felt a little skeptical and reserved. Having never worked with a coach before really made me question a lot of things like, is this even going to work, why am I doing this, will I get anything out of it, etc. I knew going into this coaching I was reserved and held back a lot. A fear of mine that held me back was failure. Failure to not understand how coaching could help my professional development and not give it my all. I felt from the beginning I was not in it 100%. But slowly, Helen coached me in learning how to deal with coworkers in a stressful environment and coordinating events on a larger scale with vendors. There were a lot of questions they would ask me, and sometimes I would not understand why they couldn’t just tell me how to do things. It’s like peeling layers on an onion. There were a lot of silent moments because, at that point, I really had to think about my answers. My favorite part was when we would have breakthroughs. I felt like I accomplished things when we got together. I knew they understood me when I voiced my frustrations. And I felt we had a lot in common. Helen is AMAZING at their job, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to develop their professional skills. Helen comes with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of people in their most confused of times. I come from the private sector and working for a non-profit was a big challenge. They helped me navigate the worries and concerns I had. I look forward to working with my team in a more cohesive manner and learn from each other. I hope I get to continue my coaching with Helen in the future.

  • With Helen's coaching I was able to plan for and engage in difficult conversations which turned out much better than if I had planned alone. In the process, I learned more about myself and about setting boundaries that allows me to be both productive in my line of work AND a better caregiver. I highly recommend Helen for their patience, powerful questions and responsiveness. They make it easy to dig deep and then come out on the other side stronger and more confident.
